WW2 US 'Rough Out' Ankle Boots produced by Epic Militaria We are very excited to introduce our very own reproductions of the classic US "Shoes, Service, Reverse Upper". As introduced in June 1943, without the toecap found on the previous Service Shoes, these sturdy boots saw use throughout the war by US troops around the world. The upper is constructed from a thick and sturdy genuine leather suede, tied together with all of the stitches found on the originals. A robust leather insole further improves the feel of the boot, already far more comfortable than other hobnailed or leather-soled boots of the period thanks to the rubber sole. With the original grip pattern recreated on the heel and ball of the sole, these excellent boots offer value for money, a great choice for reenactment or collecting. We recommend ordering your regular UK shoe size and keeping in mind that due to the natural leather used in construction, they may need a bit more wearing in than modern synthetic boots.
